Doris M. Stocks is a member of Cohort 10.  She received both her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and her Master of Science Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Jackson State University.  She is currently working on a Doctorate Degree in Early Childhood Education with fellow Cohort Members. 

Mrs. Stocks is married with three children.  Mrs. Stocks’ husband is a graduate of Mississippi State University and a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.  Mrs. Stocks is the proud co- parent of three children.  She has one son who is an avid baseball player, ranked chess champion and a talented artist.  She also has two daughters, one who is a talented clothing designer and the youngest who is exhibiting the traits of a gifted student. 

During her free time, Mrs. Stocks enjoys reading, playing tennis, stage plays, vacationing, and attending football and baseball games with her family. 

Mrs. Stocks has been an educator for 14 years.  She chose the field of education because of her love of educating the mind and expanding the academic potential of students.  Mrs. Stocks’ students are encouraged on a daily basis to reach their highest goals.
